Minulle kasvattajana on koiran terveys sekä luonne tärkeää unohtamatta rotumääritelmän mukaista ulkonäköä. Jalostukseen käyttämäni koirat ovat tutkittu vähintään silmien, polvien sekä sydämen osalta, osa myös laajemmin, mm. geenitesteillä. Riippuen laboratoriosta, testitulokset ovat nähtävissä joko kennelliiton jalostustietokannassa ja/tai rotuyhdistyksen tiedoissa. Mahdollisuuksien mukaan pentujen mukana tulee myös geenitestien tulokset paperillisena.

Pennut tullaan myymään aina tietyllä hinnalla, josta osa palautuu omistajalle takaisin, kun pennulle on teetetty vähintään 2 vuoden iässä viralliset silmä, polvi sekä sydän kuuntelu.

Terveystulokset myös ei jalostukseen käytetyiltä koirilta ovat kullan arvoista tietoa kasvattajalle kasvatustyöstään ja jalostusvalinnoistaan, tämän vuoksi haluan tukea ja kannustaa pennun ottajia tutkituttamaan koiriaan.

Koirat ovat kuitenkin lähtökohtaisesti perheenjäseniä ja niiden seurasta pitäisi pystyä nauttimaan jopa 15 vuotta, jonka tehtävän pystyy täyttämään vain terve ja kokonaisvaltaisesti hyvinvoiva lemmikki.

As a breeder, the health and character of the dog are important to me without forgetting the appearance according to the breed standard. The dogs I use for breeding have been tested for at least the eyes, knees and heart, some also more extensively, including genetic tests. Depending on the laboratory, the test results can be seen either in the Finnish Kennel Club's breeding database and/or in the breed club's information. If possible, the puppies will also come with the genetic test results in paper form.

Puppies will always be sold for a certain price, part of which will be returned to the owner when the puppy has had an official eye, knee and heart examination at the age of at least 2 years.

Health results, even from dogs not used for breeding, are valuable information for the breeder about their breeding choices, which is why I want to support and encourage those who get their dogs tested.

Nonetheless, dogs are essentially family members, of which you should be able to enjoy their company for up to 15 years or more, a task that only a healthy and holistically well-being pet can accomplish.
